How the photo was taken:

Mid-morning, Freshwater Beach, a couple of days before Christmas 2023. Most people had knocked off work for the year and were starting their Christmas holidays. Nobody was in a rush for waves and I don't think anyone cared! The iconic South Freshwater Headland and mega-mansions in the background.
